I have to have a procedure done in the radiology dept, and I usually went to Corpus Christi for it once every 3 weeks. Now I prefer to come here. It’s so much easier to get an appt, the staff members are super nice, the procedure is done in my room, and the hospital food is fabulous! The only drawback is that the radiologist wants to take out less fluid and have the procedure done more often, which can sometimes be a challenge to arrange with my doctor’s office, and also coordinating medical transportion for me. I would give 5 stars otherwise. (a month ago)

No one likes to go to the Emergency room, especially on vacation. That is what happen to me. From the moment I walked in the door till the time I was discharged, all the nurses and staff took good care of me. Dr Tinsley took time to explain to me what was going on and helped me get the paperwork for my DR back in Reno. (a month ago)

It was necessary to bring my husband to the ER the Sunday after Hurricane Harvey. Some of the staff had been in the ER since Thursday prior to the storm. In many cases the staff had no idea what damage their homes might have sustained. They were away from the families. The hospital had electricity thanks to a generator, but no water. They were evacuating patients to SAT Austin, and College Station. With all that chaos around them, they still took care of my husband with such professionalism. We are extremely grateful to all the staff - from the registration desk, to the imaging department, to the nurses in the ER. Doctor Francis was outstanding. And, he had a wonderful sense of humor which helped our situation. BRAVO to the staff of DeTar on Navarro! (8 months ago)

I’d give them a zero if I could. Billing department is incompetent (a week ago)

Staff was rude and arrogant. They used irrelevant and outdated material to try and justify terrible care for my daughter who has a special condition. Resulted in the need to rush her to TCH in downtown Houston. I will never take my family there again. (3 weeks ago)
