Am upset! I gave birth to my son on 04-08-18 and he's premature! I tested negative of marijuana and somehow his meconium tested positive for marijuana and they called CPS! Now my kids aren't with me until we figure out what we have to do to get them back! 😢 The hospital has not shown any proof or evidence of any tests to verify there was marijuana in his poop. I need proof now! And he was not supposed to be released until he was 6 pounds and they just released him on Thursday while he was 4 pounds and 8 ounces. I'm really upset!! I need proof of my son's tests! I don't even think they ran it to a lab, I think they used a testing strip (3 weeks ago)

Hospitals are never a place anyone wants to be, but I recommend this one if you need emergent care for your child. My son was terrified of hospitals prior to his recent visit and now he is comfortable because the staff here is just amazing! The ER team did a phenomenal job and provided the best care we have ever received. They were very professional, thorough, and patient. Thank you DCMC for being wonderful! (a month ago)

Really wish nobody ever needed to be here. But at the same time I am very grateful that this place exists. As hard as it is to have a sick child these people make sure you, your child and your family have everything to make being here easier. Everything is so clean, everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. Security in the hospital area is very strong. There are many places to take sick child to make them feel better and if they can't leave the room, the fun will come to them. Countless toys, books, service dogs, people dressed as super heroes and disney characters bring so much joy to children and relief to parents. Thank you Dells Children Hospital, you did all you could to make us feel comfortable and it is greatly appreciated. (5 months ago)

My daughter had a spiral fracture of her leg yesterday and we took her to Seton Kyle for treatment. Seton was great and admitted us quickly and quick x-rays. But they said they couldn't work on an 8 yr old's spiral fracture so they sent us to Dell. After being admitted I to Dell and a very short visit by nurses and some more pain killers, the doctor said Seton did a good job on the splint and he wasn't going to put a cast on or anything else for a week. So we were sent home. When we asked why we even drove all the way up to Dell, and couldn't the orthopedic surgeon have just looked at the x-rays and told us to go home, we were told that there may have been a miscommunication between hospitals. Then, there was also a nurse who tried to kick us out of the room as quick as she could as my daughter is screaming bloody murder in pain. This nurse doesn't seem to like her screaming so she pulls the blanket off her broken leg rapidly causing more pain to her freshly broken leg! And she doesn't seem to care about causing pain to children! And now I get a huge bill for a useless visit and cruel nurses. I would've hoped they'd have their stuff together better. I will avoid this place at all costs in the future. (2 months ago)
