I’m not one to write reviews, but had to rate this one. Too bad ZERO star is not an option!! The worse hospital and experience ever!! This rating is based on yesterday and today’s experience! The hospital looks like a haunted house. Horrible ER staff- from registration to two ignorant nurses (male and female) 6/12, 10pm. My husband was in severe pain - for the female nurse to say to him “you’re not dying if you’re talking.” No compassion for ER patients whatsoever! Quit your job because you don’t belong in this profession. The doctor “specialist” that finally performed my husbands surgery had no bedside manners and had a terrible attitude. The procedure start to finish should be done in an hour (quick out patient) 48hours later and counting. This hospital needs a complete makeover from structure to staff. (a month ago)

Definitely the worst hospital and staff and set of doctors I’ve ever met. AC was broken it was the middle of June and absolutely no Dr. followed any sort of procedure. Every single one of the staff needs to go back to medical school because they’re absolutely retarded (4 weeks ago)

ER staff and doctors were wonderful! Treated me very respectfully, were kind and explained everything very throuroughly. I don’t live in Chicago but If I did and needed to been seen in an emergency room, I would visit this ER again. Thank you! (a month ago)

Came here to be with my son after he was bitten by a dog. He just arrived when I got there and he was being checked in. Being used to large hospitals I have waited in ERs for hours before being seen. Not here. Within 10 minutes of checking in, he was called back. The nurse checked him out, made sure there was no penetration of the skin, and sent us on our way without formally checking him in, causing him to cough up a huge insurance co-pay. He recommended a tetanus shot, but since he had one in the past couple of years, we left. I cannot comment as to the state of care once you are checked in. The ER nursing staff was great. Right now I am in the emergency room with my wife who is having chest pain, nausea, left arm pain and headache. Been here for four hours. I just asked a nurse for information and she said one second a kept on going and that was 20 min yes ago. No doctor has been in here for three hours. No updates. No explanation of findings. Just freaking sitting here waiting for the donut eating to be finished and maybe we will get some answers to what is happening withy wife. (4 months ago)
