At 1 a.m. on the 10th of May the graveyard nurses and Doctor were fantastic with helping me to and from the restroom when I needed to go and took very good care of me even after I had been discharged while waiting for my ride. Nurses at nurses at shift change when asked to be helped to the restroom said oh you've been discharged here's your crutches have a nice day. There was no way I could walk even with the crutches carrying my belongings to the restroom. I didn't get no help from the nurses from 7 a.m. on and elderly man help me get out to my car with my belongings that we had showed up to the hospital for an appointment. (2 weeks ago)

I have a three year old existing injury that is still painful to this day because of the negligence and ignorance of the staff at this hospital. I broke a small bone in my foot from jumping into a shallow pool. Upon arriving at the hospital I told the doctor that my foot was obviously broken. It had swollen twice the size, and was excruciatingly painful. I got an x-ray and an exam from the doctor. My first clue that the doctor didn't know what he was doing was that he tried to force me to walk on my foot. He insisted i step down on it even though I told him I was in extreme pain and could not. This was before they even got the x-ray back. After they got the x-ray, they said my foot was NOT broken. In-fact it was, I learned when they called me THREE DAYS LATER after looking at it a second time. After the three days had passed I came back to be treated. The doctor gave me a boot, to which I said that it felt like my foot was being pulled down, which obviously would be a bad thing to be doing for a fractured bone. He didn't listen, again. So, I wore the boot for the time he told me to wear it, about one month. I went back in after that time, feeling a little better. One day after the boot was off, I was in pain again. I went to the doctor the next day and told him that I was still in pain and didn't believe I was healed. He acted like I was lying, he was extremely condescending, and basically told me he couldn't do anything for me and suggested I go to someone else. I did, I went to Portland, I got another x-ray. By this time about three months had passed since the injury. The x-ray revealed that MY BONE WAS STILL FRACTURED. The doctor that originally treated me tried to make me walk on a broken foot, told me it wasn't broken, then when he realized it was broken he treated it incorrectly which resulted in an injury that should have been healed in one month, still not healed after FOUR. Because this doctor mistreated me from the very beginning this injury still is painful today, it healed wrong because he did not listen to a word a said the whole way through. I've been told by another doctor that because of my original doctors mistreatment, I would have to re-break the bone and go through the healing process again. He also said I probably have nerve damage because I was treated with a boot when I clearly shouldn't have been. I've never gone back to this hospital again and I've heard similar stories about their radiology department. If you want to heal properly please do not go to this hospital! Go to Seaside hospital, they listen and actually follow correct procedures for injuries, which I feel is not too much to ask from a HOSPITAL. (3 weeks ago)

CMH has an amazing Emergency Dept., staffed with great care providers. Clean, caring, efficient. (in the last week)

Don't waste your time. Went in for abdominal swelling and they sent me away after blood work and urine sample. Told me to see my primary care physician. Still having the same problem and now I have to go elsewhere. My primary doctor said I'm just gaining weight and sent me on my way also. I am feeling like nobody cares while I have something horrible happening. I'll be going to urgent care tonight to see if I can get answers but I'll probably have to go to Portland. After gping to urgent care for answers, they spoke with my primary Dr and he told them he was waiting on pap results (assuming abdominal swelling was cervical cancer) Urgent care sent me on my way without any help or imaging. She said there is clearly fluid in my stomach. I'm undecided on if I will go back to this hospital and demand an xray or ct scan, or travel 2 hours to Portland, where they actually try to diagnose and treat a medical issue. I'm now 3 weeks into this issue with no answers. Started noticing swelling around Valentine's day. Can't get help from ANYWHERE. extremely frustrated. All I can think is if I die, my family needs to file a wrongful death suit. I have had to resort to self diagnosis which is a possible incisional hernia from when my gallbladder was removed. If that's the case, I could have obstruction to intestines or bowels. It could be serious. And nobody will do anything. Completely hopeless. (2 months ago)

Extremely nice and proffesional nurses/staff..so when I get the bill from the hospital. I sure hope it's a nice and positive experience also. :) I will update :) $6200 after insurance... Very expensive for gallblatter removal..:( (3 months ago)
