Over my life I have watched the hospital grow and modernize. They also have family medicine, assisted living, and a nursing home. People are hard on hospitals, but I am indebted to this one, twice: once for stabilizing me after a horrible accident and another for a hideous gash to my leg. (2 months ago)

This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. Rude, disrespectful doctors who act like they don't give a damn about you at all.basically the second you walk through the door, YOUR asked "why are you here"? Why didn't you go see your doctor??? And it just keeps getting worse.... I won't ever go back. (a month ago)

I've been treated in the Emergency room 3 times in the last year and have had excellent treatment by the staff and the ER doctor. (3 months ago)

I live in Ephrata and we have an absolutely wonderful small town, but I am so disappointed to call Columbia Basin our hospital. I had red sores break out all over my body and I went in to the Emergency Room at about 2am when I didn't think they would be busy. There were no other people waiting, it was completely quiet and they got me into a room right away. Then I sat in the room for about 2 hours, and when the doctor finally came in, he was EXTREMELY rude. (It actually reduced me down to tears when I left because I was so overwhelmed at how I was treated.) This man came in, didn't even check out my sores at all. He looked at me and scolded me for coming into the ER when I wasn't clearly dying. I told him that I was scared because I had no idea what these red spots were and I wanted to make sure I didn't have an outbreak of something, and I purposefully waited to come in at a non-busy time so that I wouldn't take time away from other patients. He did not tell me what I had or how to fix it, let alone prescribe me any medicine. He did absolutely nothing except walk in the room and talk to me harshly and ask me how dare I come into the Emergency Room. I just couldn't believe it. I filed a complaint with the hospital, and after 45 days they finally let me know that the "care" I received was sufficient. Then they sent me a bill for over $450...and on top of that, they added a Finance Charge for the 45 days that they were looking into my complaint! Completely ridiculous! I have no problem paying for my trip to the ER when I get cared for there, but having to pay to get yelled at by a rude doctor? I can't even begin to say how disgusted I am with this hospital and I would never go there again. (7 months ago)

Staff are very rude and act like they are better than others. (in the last week)
