The physicians at the quick care lack professionalism and sympathy. They speak to the patients in a very condescending manner. If you have a nueces county clinic card, they aren't there to help you get your issue resolved. They assume you're ignorant and will give you the cheapest and quickest, superficial "fix" to your medical issue. Then, if you politely attempt to discuss the course of action on YOUR OWN health, they cut you off midsentence and belittle you. Now tell me, where do you go, as a doctor to get a medical education, to where you lecture the patient about how yes x-rays do show all soft tissue and ligaments in your area of pain? Where does Spohn find these incompetent, rude crackerjack doctors? Then when you try to correct respectfully that no...an MRI and ultrasound will show soft tissue and fluid retention, they cut you off rudely and impatiently saying "no, x-rays show all that as well." Wow...just wow. Spohn needs to send these people back to school. They lack common sense/knowledge, yet have the audacity to treat patients as if they are the ignorant ones bothering them with their medical issues. HELLO! That's what y'all are there for. YOU chose the career, don't like it, go elsewhere and let people that truly care, take care of those seeking medical attention! Go to Bay Area if you have insurance. They have always been very courteous, patient, and knowledgeable, in my experience. I've never been treated like an unwanted pest there. (a week ago)

The people here were wonderful and very nice! I would recommend them if you are in need! (2 weeks ago)

The medical staff is o.k. took my nephew it was easy I had to wait for about an hour. The Security guard was nice and we were treated nice (9 months ago)

My brother-in-law was admitted in a catatonic state. Spohn has no psychiatrists or psychologists who can make calls there. One doctor suggested he be taken home and let die with hospice care. Unbelievably due to hospital regulations it took 5 weeks to get him moved from Spohn to St. Luke's in Houston. With the real doctors at St Luke's he was responding to medication within 2 days and improved dramatically and was able to return home within a couple of weeks. Unless you are ready to die, avoid Spohn at all costs. (a year ago)

The absolute worst of any Hospital in town. I turned them into the State Dept. Of Health in Austin, as well as the USS. Father went in for a simple procedure . He passed away Tuesday. Doctor Saleem is above and beyond. We will always have him in our prayers. Doctor Chen the hospital Doc is the worst, most unprofessional Person.Tuesday . (a year ago)
