Our 93 year old mother spent her last days surrounded by the loving and highly competent staff at Christus Coushatta Louisiana. We are forever grateful for their kindness. (11 months ago)

Over an hour in the ER waiting room with my 11 year old son in the fetal position with abdominal pain and staff telling us that they would see him when a room became available. Not a single staff member ever looked at him. We finally left and drove him to Willis Knighton South in Shreveport to find out he was having an appendicitis and to have surgery. (a year ago)

What a damn joke! A Dr. Cason came in and asked what the problem was? I informed him I'd like him to look at T12. He says why? I inform him of fracture and that I've been having problem since Wed.. The next thing out his mouth was had I taken Aspirin/Ibuprofin. I said No. Well, if you've had pain since Wed why not? I just said I was stubborn. This exam turned into a bullshit issue about why I hadn't taken a damn aspirin? . He says I need to go to my Primary in Shreveport. Didn't even bother to take xray! Just sent me on my way. Ok, jerk, I'll go to Shreveport and if there is a problem I'll be suing his ass and Schumpert for assuming I was there for my pain. All I asked was for an xray! So, this is how patients coming to your facility are going to be treated? Your doctors are just automatically going to assume a patient is drug seeking? I'm far from stupid Cason! I know what I required and you didn't even bother! Screw you! (2 years ago)

I worked in the ER here for six years. I loved working here and the people I worked with were as close to me as family. My charge nurse is one of the best people you could ever want to work for. Everyone in administration on down were the best people you could ever know. (5 years ago)
