My son was admitted for 4 nights and also ended up having surgery. Everyone even in the ER was amazing! They helped my son not only to recover and get better but they did it while making him comfortable and letting him ask questions and explaining things to him too! I am so very thankful I took him to this location and will always come here for our needs! (a month ago)

I couldn’t begin to tell you how many times we’ve brought our kids to Children’s. Everything they do is geared toward the well being of the children. Every single visit is always just great. They keep the kids calm and comfortable through whatever they are experiencing. We drive past another hospital just to get to Children’s Medical Center. (a week ago)

My daughter went into the ER a few days ago and I want to recognize a few of the nursing staff and the Dr who seen her. I can't recall the Dr's name but he was very attentive and made sure he covered all of the major things that could have been causing my baby to be sick. The paramedics Haley and Wes came in to assist with an IV placement and were so patient and willing to jump in and help. Our two nurses Rachael and Ashley were amazing. I can't say enough wonderful things about those two the patients they had with my 11 week old. After being in the ER she was admitted and we had two awesome nurses on the floor Emma and Tiffany and we were so thankful for them. Thank you Childrens Health for taking care of our baby girl. We are so grateful! We will be back in the future! (3 months ago)

The waiting is awful at this hospital. Came in at 10:24 pm on a Monday with my child needing stitches. Four hours later we were seen. The nurses and docs are good, but you have to wait, wait, wait to see them. Thirty, forty minutes will go by between visits from staff in your room, once you actually get back to a room. This was our second experience like this here and we've learned our lesson: don't go to Children's Medical Center of Plano unless we have an acute need for their pediatric expertise. My child's wound started curling up and turned purple/blackish during the four-hour wait. We should have gone to a non-pediatric ER. (2 months ago)

The medical care was on par with others ers. They were slow but full. Dr. implied I was crazy that I brought my daughter in when her oxygen was dropping with the flu. She has asthma and her o2 had dropped to 92%. The real problem is they make you sign a promissory note even if you have insurance and will not treat until you sign it. I was already checked in when they handed me the note. When I called to try to get a discount if I paid all at once, they said they no longer do that. They will let you pay by the month, but they do not have auto pay. The rep claimed it was against the law to keep credit card info. That is not true, they just do not have it properly set up. Which is easy to do I run a business and have checked. I recommend a different hospital system if this is important to you. (2 months ago)
