This hospital should be closed down. The food is gross. I got pizza from the cafeteria and it was not done . Took it back and was told to get something else it happens sometimes. The care my father received was terrible he developed bed sores from the nurses not turning him like the doctors said and they let him lay in a soiled bed for over and hour even after us going to nurses stations to tell them. This is a hospital that care about the money and no compassion for the well being of there patients. I’m trying to get the word out so someone will not have to go through what my family has been going through. I’m not stopping here something has to be done before they kill someone. (a week ago)

This is probably the worst medical group in existence. They are incompetent, they falsify medical records and during an investigation they refuse to even speak to a witness that could show that their staff falsified the records only relying on the person falsifying the records to give information. They also do not bill correctly. I literally had to speak to the president of the hospital Tony Houston to have it billed correctly. Also today I was notified that they were not billing my insurance because it had been termed by blue cross/blue shield but when I called blue cross blue shield I was informed that this was incorrect and that my insurance was active. So that was yet another lie from them. This hospital has no care for people at all but they care about your money. I have stated to them that I would rather die then ever be treated by them again. DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE AND EXPECT TO BE TREATED WITH ANY RESPECT. (a week ago)

When my b/p dropped to 48/33 last Saturday, the doctor who saw me in the emergency room here could only focus on the fact I'd had six beers over seven hours! I had other symptoms, but no one recorded or paid attention to what I said. I was a "drunk"... PERIOD! They rushed me out the door as insignificant!! My blood pressure has continued to be low, along with other symptoms that are very suggestive of lupus! I may be a disabled R.N., but I'm not stupid. I won't be using St. Vincent's again!!! I had to have a radical mastectomy in 2016. I couldn't have asked for any better care. I've been back many times, unfortunately for various issues. But I can say this, every staff member from doctors and nurses and techs to the cafeteria staff and the ladies that cleaned my room, treated me with the best respect and has always made me feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you so very much for all of the hard work and dedication you show not only to your jobs but to us, your patients. (3 months ago)

While searching the internet looking for a number to the CHI outpatient center and not finding it (I might have overlooked it) I called the main number. I wanted the number to give to my elderly aunt to call and confirm her scheduled test in the morning. While I was still in the middle of my sentence the next thing I knew I had been transferred to who knows where... no one answeres. I just needed the number. I did not want to be transferred. My thoughts were this late in the evening they would be closed but my aunt would have the number to call in the morning. the woman that answered the phone could have either told me the center was closed, GIVEN ME THE NUMBER or better yet, let me finish my sentence! What she did was rude! I was cut off while speaking. If she hates her job that much maybe she should go find another one where she doesn’t have to interact with the public!! Busy? NO EXCUSE not to be polite. I am extremely disappointed in CHI. I would be more than happy to give customer service classes of phone etiquette to anyone that answers the phone at CHI. Free of charge. She is the first impression of CHI and believe me...I am NOT impressed. (in the last week)
