I took my husband to the er for a possible blood clot in his neck. The first hour they were great about everything. Then just sitting in the waiting room. It's been 6 full hours now, and they haven't even taken him to a room, or spoke to a dr. (a week ago)

This hospital is out to scam insurance companies as much as they can to get top dollar for substandard and archaic medical practices. Hospital employees were rude, disconsiderate, and egotistical; they think they know it all, when they don't even have a clue. After 3 days of admission, the hospital and it's doctors and nurses were clueless about what was going on with my fiancee. Since I have a 20 year background in alchemy and medicine, I went through her medical files and found numerous discrepancies in her blood work results, She confided in me and had herself released. 1 week later, She was symptom free and cured; all done by myself without hospital or doctors help. Blood work was done the following week, and ALL her levels were PERFECT! All because I still believe in the Hippocratic Oath, which in this hospital, does not exist at all. You're better off getting medevaced to UHC in Morgantown for the most up-to-date medical procedures and best medical care this state has to offer. I wouldn't go to CAMC even if I were DYING! (in the last week)

Worst service I have ever seen sat in the E.R. for 3 hours and 35 mins only to hear the doctor say to the nurse put that case at the bottom I dont feel like dealing with it... very professional and these are the doctors that are supposed to help sounded more like to me that they pick and choose who they want to help while the others suffer in pain. I would say medical negligence is more like the word I'm looking for (3 weeks ago)

Husband was admitted to the ER for possible heart attack. ER staff was wonderful. The absolute travesty was that what is supposed to be the best cardiovascular hospital in the area doesn't even have a cardiologist in house. We had to wait over 7 hours for an echocardiogram to be read by the on-call cardiologist. Absolutely ridiculous!! (4 months ago)

My daughter was having stomach problems and we went to the emergency room. I know it's a city but seriously waiting for 6 hours to be seen is ridiculous. Then another 5 in the room. Unfortunately we had to go back in a couple of weeks for the same thing. Again another long wait. This time when she went back to the room we were only there about an hour because she has to be admitted. Once on the floor I could not ask for a better hospital. The nurses were all very helpful, not only to my daughter but also to me and my husband. Bravo to the dedicated nurses. (9 months ago)
