I came here for my brother a few months back who has no lower intestine. When he gets sick, he'll dehydrate almost immediately which causes positive feedback loop for dehydration. He's dealt with in the past and has experienced extreme muscle spasms from this problem. We came in the ER and he gave a direct response to why he was there. Simply to rehydrate with IV so his body can heal itself. No drugs, just IV of saline. The nurse was wrote him off. She tested my patience with her snide condescending tone. Once the doc confirmed a simple IV was warranted, she acted like it was a burden to care for him. I let that go until tonight. My daughter got terrible splinters. Deep down one's that should not be left in there. The people acted like it wasn't part of their job description to care for her. Sent me home with antibiotics! As if super bugs aren't an issue. I'm mad that all that money was wasted for them to tell me to do it myself. If you don't want to deal with crying children and difficult tasks, you're in the wrong field! I can't believe thousands will be charged for them to NOT do their jobs. (a month ago)

Very disappointed with Intermountain Healthcare. My wife and I are a part of Medi-Share which is a Christian medical sharing company. It's not traditional insurance but functions very similarly. We are halfway through our pregnancy and we've noticed that some of our bills haven't been getting billed to our Medi-Share. I called IHC and they've made the decision to completely refused to Bill any bills to Medical sharing companies. It has been extremely frustrating. Medi-Share has been such a great company to work with and I know that they've always paid their bills. There may be some bad apples in the medical sharing Arena but that doesn't mean that you lump all Medi-Sharing companies together and refuse to do any business with them. Those are the exact words that IHC Used. We refuse to do business with any medical Sharing companies. Their reasoning was that they don't like doing business with them. In my experience medical sharing companies are way easier to work with than insurance companies. How much are the insurance companies paying IHC to get medical sharing companies to go out of business. So much corruption. Cedar City Hospital you are lucky you're the only Hospital in town and that we are forced to go to you. Weed out the bad medical sharing companies but you don't have to weed out the ones that are good to work with. I know there's a lot of people mad about this. Go read the newspapers. I hope you lose money over this. (2 weeks ago)
