I arrived int he ER at 8:00 PM on a Friday night. Who wants to be in the ER on a Friday night, or any other time for that matter? Well, based on the up beat attitudes, efficiency and friendliness of the staff, I'd say they all wanted to be there! They took me seriously and addressed my concerns and pain effectively. Ultimately, after a number of tests, I was admitted and the staff on the third floor took over. I was never left in the dark about what was going on or in pain. I felt like I mattered. Testing was thorough and on Sunday morning I had surgery. As with all other staff, the surgical staff was, without exception, fantastic. I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend Castle Rock Adventist Hospital. (a month ago)

As far as going to a hospital goes (and I've been to quite a few unfortunately) this place is top notch. Extremely organized, even under times of duress. I spent the better half of my Sunday there for a mystery infection in my jaw and was extremely impressed. The efficiency, honesty, and professionalism from the staff was nothing short of amazing. And here is a tip to all the people complaining about wait times and not seeing a nurse for 45 minutes...get over it. You should spend 2 days in a military hospital and then come back here. My father-in-law was recently at Castle Rock hospital. The care provided in the ER and after he was admitted was excellent. I wanted to specifically call out my excellent experience with the Team Rounds that were done with all of the staff involved in the case at the same time in a defined window each day. As a busy professional, taking care of my family and work, the ability to know when I could speak to the whole team at the same time each day was SUPERB! (2 months ago)

My husband had a life threatening event in November of last year. He started in the emergency dept, had 2 procedures in radiology and was admitted for 11 days 1 of which was in the ICU. I am a nurse and worked for Childrens Hospital for 23 years. Hands down, the best hospital I’ve ever dealt with. The nurses, surgeon, ED staff, radiology staff, pain resource nurse - amazing. Even the cleaning and cafeteria staff were friendly and helpful. Kudos to Castle Rock Adventist. If you live in Douglas county this is the place to go. Stay away from Parker Adventist. Several terrible experiences there. (2 months ago)

I actually work for the parent company of this hospital and have gone here for just about everything. Back in August I was told that what I was having done was covered 100% by my insurance, but received two bills for about $330. The call was recorded and it is in the notes of my chart that I should not be responsible for anything, however, this does not seem to matter. The dispute process was very time consuming and just frustrating. I've been given phone numbers that are disconnected, emails that are not returned, and so on. The coding was updated many times, but was never was correct to be covered at 100%. After spending about 15 hours trying to get the hospital to fix this I eventually gave up because I was threatened with collection calls. No, I do not want to spend more time by calling your patient representative at 720-455-2531, I just want you to know that if you tell a patient that they will not owe anything you should stand by your word. This process is very broken, if it is able to be fixed, please contact me. (2 months ago)
