I can't say enough good things about the experience we had at the birthing center at Carroll Hospital. Everyone from the doctors, to the nurses, to hospitality was wonderful for our whole stay. We had so many nurses help us out. If I could remember all of them, I would give a special thanks. But we had so many folks in and out of the room that we couldn't keep it straight. They were wonderful with my girlfriend and our son, from taking their vitals to helping my girlfriend in and out of the bathroom and giving our baby baths. Dr. Kirsch and Dr. Wilson are nothing but top notch. They were so helpful with my girlfriend's labor and gave her and our newborn nothing but the best care we could ever ask for. I hope everyone who has a child at Carroll is as fortunate as we were to have such a great experience! (3 weeks ago)

Carroll Hospital is a wonderful hospital. My dad has been sick for a very long time. I appreciate the fact that they didn't release him until he was well. I appreciate the efforts and care of Carroll Hospital. Thank you (in the last week)

Some of the nurses are super nice. But the hospital as a whole is not respected. They fire good doctors who take a stand for patients, and hire a bunch of midwives because it’s cheaper. I do feel bad for the good doctors there and wish they would go to better hospitals where they would get paid more and have more respect. Also, My 9 month old son and I were hit by a drunk driver in Dec, and they barely examined us. They let us sit out in the hall with just a drape on us while people were just walking back and forth. One of the nurses on call in my “hallway” went out and smoked outside while the ambulance crew was transporting people in. She came back inside to check my BP and SMELT LIKE PURE SMOKE. My husband and parents were so disgusted by the poor care. Not to mention, they missed some major health issues from the car accident and I am now having to jump through hoops to drive farther out to a better hospital. Such a shame, I hope something changes soon. (in the last week)

If I could have picked 0 stars I would have! My mom came in by ambulance with heart attack symptoms. They took her blood pressure , hooked her up to an EKG and stuck her in the hallway!! There are at least 15 other people stuck in the hallway. No wheelchairs to provide the elderly or disabled patients. Completely understaffed and not equip to handle emergencies at all!!! The front receptionist is extremely rude. The techs don't know what patients they are treating! Mistaked my sister for my mother and started asking her what her previous history was BUT acknowledged that he could see she (my mom) was discharged 2 weeks ago after spending A MONTH here! This hospital is a joke with multiple Mal Practice cases waiting to happen! (a month ago)

My first pick was 0 ....Was VERY concerned about my care and had every right to be! FYI Was told I'd receive call after discharge (They wanted me to spend another night for observation, I refused). Glad I didn't hold my breath for a call!!! So many mistakes made during my stay! Guess I'll call them on Monday and spew all my concerns. CCH has a long road to haul and get their act together after all these years!!! Sad, very sad! (2 weeks ago)
