Staff on the floor are great but everything takes forever. Waiting for result of a simple test for four hours since the test and still waiting. Amazing how 1 doctor report can tie up a discharge for hours. (3 weeks ago)

Went to the emergency room because I was in a car accident. Waited FOUR HOURS in the waiting room because the rooms were full. Pain in my back gets noticeably worse but no one does anything about it. Got to my room, waited 1 hour before I saw anyone. Finally got X-Rays and waited for the doctor to come in to explain them. Never happened. Waited 2 more hours. Some nurse comes in with discharge papers and a prescription which could not be filled until tomorrow since this hospital doesn't have a pharmacy. That's when me being nice ended. Complained like crazy and I finally got to leave with some meds to hold me over for the night. Seven and a half total hours there for maybe two hours of actual service and less than half an hour with an actual doctor. This place is straight up dangerous with that kind of wait time and how these people get away with this kind of incompetence is beyond me. Don't be nice to these people. Be as big a prick as you can be and you MAYBE will get some medical treatment. (a month ago)

I went here with chest pain and back pain via Ambulance because the pain was so intense. No one greeted me or introduced themselves. It took an 1 1/2 hrs before an IV was placed and fluids were given. No body discussed X-Ray results. The medicine given to fix my pain was a nasty chalky liquid that I threw up instantly. No other medications were given to fix my pain. I would press the call bell and it would take 15-20 minutes before someone would come, and then I would ask my question, was told they would let my nurse know, and no one would come back. I was there from about 6-10pm and received no answers. The pain was still there, but at least I was no longer short of breath. I signed myself out AMA and set up an appointment with my PCP. Do not go here if you want help. The Staff was rude, talked loudly at Nurses Station, ignored call bells, and provided no help. The nurse promised me that after she discharged a patient to the floor I would be here top priority. Just another lie. Thanks for nothing. I did file a complaint with UPMC Pinnacle. I wanted to let the community know that if you really need assistance, do not go to this ER. The rest of the hospital may be fine. (a month ago)

I don’t know about anyone else’s experience with this hospital, but I just want to commend the hospital and the staff on the excellent care they gave my husband. He was brought in by ambulance with pneumonia and afib. The doctors and nurses in ICU worked tirelessly tending to his needs and making him healthy again. The staff was attentive and very competent. The hospital was very clean. The overall experience was a good one for my husband. He left there feeling confident and well. (2 months ago)

Horrible. Sat in ER forever. Poor service. Didn't really check. Went to Holy Spirit and got a correct diagnosis. Feeling better. What A Joke. (2 months ago)
