I'm not one to complain, nor do I experience a lot of bad interactions. I would say that I don't use the emergency room often but over the last five years I've been to Capital Medical Center 3 times. The first two times that I went maybe a couple of years ago everyone from the staff that greeted me when I walk through the door to the nurses and the doctors were amazing! My recent visit to the ER this last past couple of months it was horrendous! I didn't recognize any of the staff from the prior years it seemed like everyone from the nurses to the people that were greeting me had a attitude it wasn't a pleasant place not very clean. I was extremely disappointed and I had a half of mine too complain right then and there to the upper management but then I overheard the nursing staff talking about how bad the emergency room has gotten over the last couple of years so I figured that my complain wouldn't have made a difference. It's really sad to know that there is no one that I recognize in the emergency room anymore and that the morale has dropped dramatically from the doctors to the nurses. You can hear a lot in the ER and the fact that it sounds like the reason why I got horrible service that day was because of how the staff themselves were being treated. It may have been unprofessional for me to overhear this conversation but at the same time I understand why they are the way that they are no hard feelings towards the staff that I had for that day because from the sounds of it, they had no other options. I would just like to add that that was the worst service that I've had the three times that I visited at Capital Medical Center and I would not recommend anyone to use that emergency room until something changes dramatically weather that be getting people that actually want to work with good personality or from the Staffing point of view finding someone that can run the ER and treat staff better! For the time being my further referrals will be to St Peter's Providence Hospital located down the street! Sorry for the negative feedback Capital has not always been this horrible but it's the truth and something needs to change! I definitely would not feel safe sending my elderly mother or grandmother to this hospital and expect for her to receive great care. (a month ago)

As a personal experience, I do believe that this place was helpful. They gave me answers to my questions and someone who understands some things I am going through. She gave me very helpful advice in getting help for my symptoms and finding a specialist. They gave me resources to get help with a specialist as well since they did not have one on call. The wait was nothing and they made sure to get all my medical history. This was my first time here and they made sure I was taken care of and all questions were answered. Room I was in was clean but I was sharing with other people with screens. (4 weeks ago)

My "Out patient procedure" went very well. The reception desk was professional and efficient. The nurses and staff in the Ambulatory Surgery area was fantastic. Sara, the nurse made me feel very safe and relaxed. Dr. Berger, cardiologist, did the TEE procedure, and his staff was great. I would recommend this Medical center. (3 months ago)

This was the worst hospital I've ever been to. Staff was rude at every level, there was little to no communication between nurses, cnas and doctors. One night nurse even came in after being buzzed with a blanket wrapped around her and then could only help the back surgery patient with one hand so she didn't have to drop her blanket. This place is TERRIBLE. I actually ended up keeping a journal of all of the failures of the staff and the hospital because I couldn't actually believe it was happening. DO NOT GO HERE OR SEND ANY LOVEDONES HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT. TERRIBLE. They don't even deserve the one star I gave them. (3 weeks ago)

They wouldnt take my mom when she was in icu at another hospital and didnt feel safe they claim she wouldnt get in even tho she is in critical care but i bet if she was at home and call 911 she would and how disrespectful can you be to let someone feel so helpless and not safe clearly she in icu for a reason reason enough to be in here in the first place (3 weeks ago)
