I have NEVER seen as much incompetence at a hospital as I have here!! The nurses have no empathy for people, no kindness nor approachability. I’m DISGUSTED!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! (3 months ago)

was in a car accident they pronounced me dead, sheet over my head until my mom came during shift changed asked a new nurse to check my pulse hot chocolate sweet tea ... I was Alive and still living ....maybe they should get a 4 for keeping me alive until I got to Duke (3 months ago)

The ER gets a one star because Dr. Murphy in the ER was not concerned with any patients except for young girls. The ER staff was horrible. We have to wait 12 hours to get a room they did not give my dad his medicine until we demanded. But I would give a five star to the staff in intensive care units. All the staff there were great and helpful. Dr. Hopkins is great is a five star doctor. Dr. Green is great too! (10 months ago)

Sat here for hours while every person that checked in after me was seen before me and discharged as i still sat in the waiting room... And continued to sit in the waiting room until there was noone left but me before i was called into the back. This was my first time coming here and will most definitely be my last time coming here.... Very disappointed! (5 months ago)

Someone once told me that they wouldn't take their dog to this hospital. I just figured out why. I left there with the distinct impression that I was a nuisance and they didn't care about my issue. The staff is cranky and the doctor is simply indifferent. I am sooo glad I had a witness with me should it become necessary in future legal proceedings. For all the staff reading this...the people who walk into that ER are there because they need help and making them feel like they are cattle in a herd is unacceptable. I hope each and every one of you get to experience healthcare like you provide. But, you won't because you're part of the system and will not be treated like you treat your patients. What I learned today is that if I am in dire need for health care... I will not receive it at your hospital. I hope you sleep well at night knowing that you were able to treat another human being so callously. Remember that someday that could be you in that gown and I sincerely hope that the medical "professionals" treat you with more dignity than you treated me today. (8 months ago)
