YOU'D BE BETTER OFF TO GO TO A VETERINARIAN, after there extremely poor treatment of a patient the billing department will cause as much grief as possible to file insurance or explain there ability to do so properly. In addition in going there the fees are obscene for the hospital alone and expect a separate billing from there doctor. to date i have contacted numerous times via phone. no return calls or adequate answer. to date i have never received a paper bill BUT have been turned into collection agency twice for same bill. BEWARE!! (a month ago)

The staff was great helpful caring and compassionate with the care my father in law received never once did they make us feel we were in the way or a bother to visit so much compassion for the family of our dear loved one thank each one of you for all the care he received (2 months ago)

Ive heard so many horrible stories about how Caldwell medical center is such a bad hospital, & how its just a "band-aid station". However I personally have to give a littlw of my opinion. Last week my grandfather went in for double phnemonia. He ended up having so much fluid built up causing him to go In congestive heart failure. He was 84 years of age and knew himself it was his time to go. Dr. French got him put on morphine to ease his pain and make him as comfortable as he could while he was resting to be sent with the angels up to heaven. During that time period, not only him, but our family was treated with excellent, wonderful care. I'm talking about making sure we had all had seats for our entire family to sit in the room with him, beds for the awesome ones that stayed with him through the night, coffee, food, Ect. I could literally go on and on about how well the entire staff treated us. When we passed Monday morning, they give us time, love, compassion, and some even cried with us. Now that, is what I call excellent. So a 5* review? No, the scale needs highered. I know my family appreciates everything they done for my grandfather, & us. Once again, thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts. ❤ Also, Sorry for any grammer errors. (a month ago)

Nurses here are terrible and extremely rude. She was walking by my hospital bed and hit her hip on my hand very hard, knocking the IV out of place. After I told her she hit my hand really hard and knocked the IV out of place, she was rude and denied it saying she didn’t touch me at all. 5 minutes later my hand swells up like a balloon, she comes in and tells me it is MY fault the IV was knocked out of place. The doctors are even worse. During that visit I checked into the ER due to severe abdominal pain. They did no scans whatsoever. Just sent me home with no medication, not even for pain. After the pain worsened I came back a few days later. I could barely speak due to the amount of pain I was in, the doctor accused me of being a drug seeker, was discharged a few hours later with no scans and no medication for pain. Also, no pain medication was administered while I was in there “care”. After being discharged I went immediately to Western Baptist health in Paducah they did several scans and found that my gallbladder was two times The size it was supposed to be and was only functioning at 3% and was completely made of scar tissue you I was rushed in for emergency surgery. Caldwell County Hospital is the worst place I have ever been in my life. (6 months ago)

I can say as a patient at this hospital / ER, ive had few positive visits. One or two at the most. Several times the staff have been extremely rude and refused to complete services that i was sent there for. After an exposure to my eyes and face with biohazardous waste I was told I didn't need any testing I would be ok and couldn't get anything from exposure to my eyes..... That's just one of many nightmare experiences. Please if at all possible do not go to the ER or depend on just their opinions. Personally I will go to Paducah or Crittenden county. (5 months ago)
