I recently interviewed with HR person Gabriela at Bethesda Hospital East. I was immediately turned off by Gabriela’s negative demeanor; she had a mildly condescending tone in her speech as well. Gabriela didn’t bother to read my resume beforehand, and didn’t know I had previously worked at Bethesda Hospital East and West for three years. The interview questions seemed very much so Google search engine generated. She kept asking for VERY specific work related examples as if she wanted names, dates, and times. I got the feeling that she didn’t specialize in the recruitment process for this department as she could not relate, understand, nor comprehend what was been told to her. The pay was also very low for a salaried manager position, which did not even exceed $40,000. I ultimately ended the interview process, and left feeling like I wasted my time. (a week ago)

I went into the ER with an neumonía & a asthma attack after spending 5 days at resort where I became very sick since it was a very cold that week in Orlando and the heat in my room wasn’t working. I’m beyond thankful for the good treatment & care given to me at Bethesda Hospital. I was on vacation when I was admitted, I have to say I was treated better at the hospital than the resort. The staff was very friendly, the care given to me was excellent and all staff members introduced themselves during change shift ends because my treatment in front of me. I have no complaints. The doctors are very knowledgeable and acted quickly with my treatment plan. They made sure I was feeling good to discharge me and followed up after my discharge to make sure I was feeling good and to make sure I was fine with follow up appointment. (3 months ago)

If I could give no stars I would. This hospital is the WORST. I once had an issue to where I had to a have a incision. This hospital told me that they couldn’t do anything to help me. I drove over to JFK only had to wait about 10 minuets and the incision was performed. Now my grandma is at Bathesda which she was stuck 3 times because they had inexperienced trainees who couldn’t find a vein. One stuck her in the back of her arm. (a month ago)

Got here at 5:45 and we are still here. It is 10 past 10 pm. It is empty here. We are here for not a laughing matter but should of been out of here in no more than 2 hours max. No drink or even a bite to eat. Our old hosp would at least ask if we were thirsty. I won’t ever come back even if my life depends on it. I’ll die first. (3 months ago)

Wonderful service. Caring nurses. ER is first rate. Best hospital in the area. (3 weeks ago)
