I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital. They have treated my children several times, from stitches, to broken bones, and were very pleasant to deal with. They were super nice to my kiddos. Their surgery dept is also awesome. They have a great staff there who is willing to help you with anything you ask for! (3 months ago)

Good small town hospital. I believe you get more personal attention from the nurses, doctors and other health care providers than at a large hospital. The red rehabilitation department in the basement of the main building is great. (3 months ago)

One star might be too generous. I was in an automobile accident last Saturday and was taken by squad to Berger's ER where upon I sat for over 3 hours waiting to be seen. I was not bleeding nor was I carrying on or yelling out in pain. I sat quietly, waiting. I overheard, as I sat on a gurney in the hallway by the nurses station, that I was "too cute" and "didn't look too badly hurt" and "she's from out of town". When I asked after 3 hours when would the DR see me I was told he was busy. I decided to leave and come back to Columbus for help. I was calm, respectful and kind to the staff. However, in turn, they were discriminatory towards me. Evidently, if you are from out of town and are in need of emergency services . . . Berger is not the place to go. I give them a failing grade and am completely dissatisfied and dismayed. They are not committed to providing exceptional care with compassion as they attest to on their website. (7 months ago)

I would gve it negative stars if I could! Even funnier it wouldn’t let me post with zero stars. ER crazy busy but doctor saw me one time and never did come talk to me again. I was released to go see my family physician this week. She was clearly too busy to even explain the findings or spend another minute with me. I spent hours without seeing her and then dismiss me without speaking to me. This will be my last visit here. Don’t even know what blood work was done. Asked my nurse and he didn’t know. I made him look up one number to see if it were high. Just sad to be treated like a number. If the flu season is making ER so busy maybe you should employ more staff so all patients get treated properly. Very sad care!! (4 months ago)

Daniel Marcum, one of the ER physicians, over night I am assuming, needs to find a new profession. Not quite sure why you wasted so much time out of your life and money to become a doctor if you just want to be a prick to people. I bring my 17month old son in because he has a fever of 101 and you ask my wife and I what we want you to do about it, or what do we think will happen to him? How about you try finding out what's wrong with him first off, and then reassure the parents as to what is going on and let us know you're going to help our sick child. We don't come to the hospital to be talked down to like we're ignorant. To hell with you sir and I hope your life is as s**t as you make it seem. (5 months ago)
