The ER here is a complete joke. Have been here on several occasions with relatives. Completely unprofessional and uncaring employees seem to be the norm. Unless you're dying and it's obvious, expect at least a three to four hour wait every time. If you can, avoid this place at all costs. If not, I wish you better luck than we've had. (in the last week)

I'm devastated the oncologists here led my 80 year old grandmother to believe she had any chance of surviving chemo. She trusted them and did what they recommended. She only lasted a few months wiith the treatment. I really believe she would still be here without it. If you are looking for treatment for a cancer patient, I recommend finding more caring doctors. The ER has been frustrating every time. I've never waited at any other ER as long as here. Go to Henry Ford in Woodhaven if you have a choice. I have no issue with other departments. I had my first son at this hospital and the maternity ward is excellent. I had an upper endoscopy here in the surgical center, and also recieved excellent care. So the stars i did give are for those. This particular ER is terrible. The hospital itself is great. They need to get rid of all the ER Dr.'s and Nurses and start fresh. I've been to that ER 2 times in 3 yrs. The second time I went was for severe back pain. It was a Sunday and my back Dr. was not in so I went to the ER. They accused me of going to just get pain medicine. The ER Dr. didn't even look at my back. Basically he told me there was nothing that could do for me. I was in such severe pain I went to a different hospital and they kept me 24 hrs for observation. Which I was given medicine by IV every 6 hrs.. I wouldn't go back to that ER of I was paid to. (4 months ago)

Physicians seem to be as good as the greatest of competitors. The hospital is nicely remodeled but the question of my concern is; Are the patients sharing the cost pr are the millionaires that own the building flipping the bill? (3 months ago)

I was at Henry Ford Wyandotte 3 times for Kidney Stones. The treatment in the ER was awful. Came here and was seen by Dr Kelley in 15 minutes. The entire staff was fast, efficient and caring. I will be bringing my family here for care from now on. Thanks Beaumount Trenton for fantastic service!!! (2 months ago)
