Unless I’m on my dying breath, please take me elsewhere. Outpatient lab test, registration and waiting area was just plain old dirty, dingy and in need of updating. Topping it off, my test was scheduled for 10:45 a.m., told to arrive 20 minutes prior which I did. Left me in a cold locker room area in a hospital gown with years old magazines, never updated or checked on by anyone until I asked. Attitude was just so poor. Offered me a couple of $5 vouchers, which I declined because what could I possibly want to buy there, obviously professionalism is not available. Finally went for test around 12:10-12:15 and done in 5 minutes. Have to have a different test, not coming back here. The 2 stsrs is pretty generous right now. Feel bad for people with more serious illnesses or those easily frightened. Where are patient advocates? (a month ago)

Very professional, friendly, helpful, clean and neat. My wait time for someone to assist me was less than 2 minutes. I think they are pretty wonderful. (a month ago)

My son was born in this hospital. I breast fed all of my 5 children so I was very experienced. I realized that I wasn't producing enough milk because my son was screaming and in tremendous distress. I repeatedly requested a bottle and was refused. They then ran numerous unnecessary tests on my baby. I can't recall exactly how much time they left him starving, I believe it was well over 24 hours. They called in a specialist from Children's Hospital, that confirmed he was simply hungry. The attending physician that refused to order the bottle I requested said " we thought that it was......." She never completed her statement and I believe I know exactly what "SHE THOUGHT". She was condescending, most of the other staff had treated me well. When my son's father came to sign the birth certificate, no one came and I didn't insist because it appeared obvious to me that they didn't want to. I didn't want any controversy but little did I know at that time that it would have a negative impact on my son's life. (3 months ago)

Ive never been treated so well at a hospital. Unfortunately it was my first overnight stay at a hospital and from the moment i was wheeled in the door, the people who greeted me were so very kind and helpful. It was a huge relief. Every staff member was unbelievably kind and i felt like they cared and werent just doing their job. I also want to give recognition to my nurses on the 3rd floor jenni and susan. I firmly believe the care they provided me was HUGE for my recovery. Thank you so much Beaumont, Michael Chorazyczewski (a week ago)
