I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone. I went in complaining about my back. I have a pinched nerve between my L4 and L5 disc. The doctor ordered a dye test for my stomach. I was in pain when I arrived and had the same pain when I left. You have my medical history right in front of you. You know my situation already. Yet you prescribe me medicine that you know won't work for me. It was a waste of time. I won't be going back ever again. (a month ago)

At the ER with my father with chest pain. He had a heart attack four months ago. In the waiting room for over two hours. We finally get back and had to wait four more hours for the lab tech to come and draw his labs. Keep in mind this is a 79 year old male with a significant history of CHF. After serious complaints they finally came. He ended up being admitted and we waited for a room to be clean. That took another four hours. We were notified that the room was clean and they were in their way to transport him. Two hours later, no transport. Only when the family went to get a wheel chair themselves to take him ourselves, they miraculously showed up. Bottom line: 12 hours later we finally made it the room. They left a elderly man with chest pain in the waiting room that long with at least 30 patients (most with flu symptoms) around him for that long. The labs took hours to get drawn and once confirmed he was having another cardiac event, hours to get transported to a room that had been cleaned for hours. I’m told they were “short staffed”. And during a flu epidemic. Classic management failure. Failure the take appropriate action in a timely fashion. Failure to staff adequately. Failure all around. Baptist Desoto needs new management and they need to learn customer service. (4 months ago)

They took good care of me. I just don't understand why a ct scan that last 3 minutes cost me 4500 dollars, even in-network.. as a example, in Phoenix, Arizona the same procedure cost $1400. I can't shopping around when there's urgency in a treatment. I think the system is not perfect or someone is making a lot of money.... (a month ago)

I would not recommend this facility to anyone I cared about. Staff is rude, uncaring, more interested in their cell phones than the patients. The only hospital in this area, and they know it and act like it. (a month ago)

I was admitted here in 2015. Got excellent care in par with some of the best hospitals, arnd the country. Doctors were on time and nurses were very helpful. Methodist gave me wrong diagnosis and discharged me for which i was admitted in ICU for 5 days to get pulmonary effusion done. Food choice was bit funny but i think on the overall they would get 8.5 out of 10. Was able to get records in time and billing was fair. I would recommend this place for stern cardiovascular group (5 months ago)
