This hospital is awful! The ER is so lax, so unprofessional, so hateful. The front desk staff at the ER were shucking & jiving &, most disturbingly, laughing while the waiting room was packed with people that were hurting. I went there with BP that had spiked into stroke range. In triage, they couldn't get their two blood pressure machines to work, & they couldn't get a reading at all. The young male nurse was rude. Unbelievably, they did not have a single manual BP cuff in the department. I was forced to wait for 90 minutes while they waited for a manual BP cuff to be sent over. It never arrived. Nurses ignored us. My husband had to retrieve our personal cuff. Thankfully, my pressure had lowered to the 170s systollically, so we just went home. The whole experience was a nightmare, & it came with a hefty bill. This used to be a good hospital but no more. ๐Ÿ˜• (in the last week)

We were very impressed with the Emergency Department. The nurses, Tyler and Alex, were great! They were very competent. Dr. William Jackson was amazing- wish we could have him as a family doc! (3 months ago)

Yesterday my mother was involved in a very serious car accident and was life flight to this hospital. This was at 9:30 a.m. Since her arrival she has seen many different doctors, none of which are communicating her needs with the each other much less putting it in her chart. She has been waiting to see a neuro-spine surgeon since her arrival at the hospital yesterday morning....what could be taking so long. The lack of communication at this hospital is unacceptable. It should not take a family member to tell the doctors that her leg needs x-rays because it looks broke. The doctors and staff should be on top of this. Since her arrival...she was diagnosed with pneumothorax and pock of blood around her heart. When we (the family) has asked about an update on those conditions none of the doctors or nurses know what is going on because IT WAS NOT DOCUMENTED, and have not made an effort to find out. The only reason I am giving this hospital two stars is because some of the nurses have been really nice to my mom, other than that their lack of communication is going to have serious, if not fatal, consequences one day. This is a place you would not want to send your mother-in-law to.It is a St.Elsewhere for real. The only decent people there were the women at the ER admissions front desk and the two nurses in triage.Everybody else was cold and aloof and had major attitudes especially Tara from radiology. She was a real piece of work,Avoid this place if at all possible,. (a month ago)

Had surgery this morning, surgical staff could not have been nicer or made me feel more comfortable. I am in a room now and my nurse, Kelsey and PCT Patriece are fantastic. They are so caring and kind. Would recommend this hospital to everyone. (5 months ago)
