I delivered both of my daughters there in 2011 & 2014. Excellent care from nurses and doctors. In November, our 3 year old ripped her finger nail out of the nail bed and we went to the ER. The doctor and nurse were great with her dispite multiple shots in her thumb to be able to get it back in place. 6 months later she still ask if we can go visit the nurse that helped her. I went in with chest pains and they performed the normal tests. They couldn't find a problem. I got a surprise when I found out that, while the hospital accepted my insurance, none of the ER doctors did. Instead of a bill for $160 that my insurance company allowed, I was forced to pay $854. I think that the hospital should inform people upfront that none of the doctors will accept certain brands of insurance. Learned my lesson. Won't go back there again. (2 months ago)

I’ve had to visit Floyd a number of Times for my grandmother and my mother. I think we have been on every floor, some are better than others. One thing that I have seen among all the healthcare professionals is their compassion , love and their need to serve others. We recently just had to lay my Grandmother to rest , she passed away at Floyd. They did everything they could exactly how they should ,my grandmothers body just couldn’t handle it anymore . I wouldn’t take my loved ones to any other hospital but Baptist health Floyd Memorial . Thank you for all that put in your hard work each and every day for us ! I know I appreciate it! ❤️ (4 months ago)

There's a serious problem in the AMS coumidin clinic. The machines don't give accurate readings, and a certain employee question patients whether or not there taking their warfarin properly. Well I take pictures with the date of my friend taking his warfarin, so this employee can't dispute that anymore. She can't right down false readings. Manager needs to look into this.Baptist Health Floyd I know for a fact, strives in patient excellent and satisfaction. The president of the hospital wouldn't like a patient being harassed like this. If this isn't resolved we're going to the president of the hospital. (a week ago)

If there is less than 1 star i would give it. My husband was taken here after a car accident and they wanted my personal insurance and we told them NO it was a motor vehicle accident and needed to be billed that way. They said they could only do xrays and no MRI. My husband is 1 year post op from spine surgery. They just keep saying " he doesn't meet the criteria for a MRI." When we ask what that criteria is they said "he doesn't meet it and he is being discharged". The nurse practitioner walked out of the room while we were trying to speak to him. My husband is having extreme back and leg pain as well as weakness and they say "thats doesn't meet the criteria." I am the spine nurse for his doctor that did his surgery at norton that most certainly does "meet the criteria." For an MRI. The "charge nurse" said "even if you had insurance im sure it wouldn't be good enough to cover a MRI" He was brought here by ambulance and did not choose to come here. I wouldn't bring my loved ones here EVER! (2 weeks ago)
