I love this place! The PTs and techs are professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and treat me like a valued person. they are truly anxious to make me better! This is my second experience with them. I had a partial knee replacement 2 years ago and now I have a shoulder issue. I know I will be feeling better soon because of the caring of these people. Although I can't speak for the rest of the hospital, I will say that the ER is pathetic. First, I went to Banner Urgent Care up the street. They have nearly zero experience and resources to do anything, so they sent me to the ER. (Now I can pay 2 bills). They promised at Urgent Care that my information from my visit there would show up at the hospital... It didn't. One of the ER nurses even admitted that they can't see information from the Urgent Care! Really? No one at Banner knows how to network computers? The ER staff is mostly youngsters (and not a Dr. in sight - both at Urgent Care and ER - only PA's.) They ran rudimentary tests and when they couldn't find anything wrong, they threw up their hands! Maybe I should tell them I don't know how to pay my bill and throw up my hands too! This is not a staff problem, the staff was caring and friendly.... This is a management problem. Cutting costs in an ER is NEVER a good idea! Hire a few experienced doctors who can actually get to the root of the problem. I will definitely not go to this ER again until that happens. Last night my daughter (4 yrs old) was stung by a scorpion several times in the foot and we took her to Banner Del E Webb Emergency Room. When we arrived there her symptoms were becoming very severe and the nurses and doctor were amazing! They treated her with the absolute best care and did everything they could to explain to us exactly what was happening to her and how they were treating her. We had about 8 nurses in the room treating her at one point, each of them totally dedicated to helping our little girl. I wish I knew each of their names so I could have personally thanked them! Nurse Tony was exceptional in his care during and after the chaos was over, and Dr. Mastow was amazing and very personable as well. I simply can’t say enough for how great the staff was here! I’ve always received excellent care here (two hospitalizations and an out patient surgery). The nurses are friendly and as attentive as they can be. You may be sick, but that doesn’t make you the top priority. My feeling is that sick people are in a bad mood and write bad reviews because they feel bad. Not because the care was bad. I also say that if you are courteous and polite they’ll treat you better than someone who has a bad attitude. They are people after all... Also, there’s a serious misconception that a hospital is a country club or a hotel. You go there to be treatment, not to be served. (2 months ago)

Labor & Delivery Review - I gave birth to my son here February 2017 with a midwife practice. The nurses in L&D were phenomenal and very patient and encouraging. I was in labor here for 42 hours before my son was born and never felt rushed or pressured. I feel like if I had delivered anywhere else I would have ended up with a c-section. But instead I got the pain med free birth I’d hoped for! My son also had to spend a night in the nursery for jaundice and those nurses also did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable leaving my brand new baby with them and keeping me informed about everything that was happening with him. Can’t recommend enough! (2 months ago)
