I’ve had really good experiences at this facility. My primary care doctor - Dr. Lee is outstanding and takes his time at every appointment to address all of my concerns - and for a hypochondriac that can be a lot. The nurses have also been wonderful. If he leaves, I will leave with him. I recently had my gallbladder removed by Dr. Kuzyck and it went really well. He has a great bedside manner. His in office staff was great too. I hope I continue to have positive experiences with Aurora because they’ve made me feel at ease with my medical choices. (a month ago)

I went there about a month ago for severe chapped lips and Dr. Hicks saw me but today I saw Dr. Kumar and he was amazing. I wish he could be my primary doctor. He really was attentive and informative. I appreciated him very much. Wish we had more doctors like him. (2 months ago)

We’ve had some good experiences but the bad always outweigh. First was our son’s birth. Got to the hospital at 2:30 AM after my wife’s water broke. Everyone seemed to disappear after a bit. After roaming the hall and asking for someone to come multiple times we finally got a doctor. Turned out they had a shift change and the first doctor must have wanted to go home. New doctor came in and said they needed to hurry. Son born after 7 AM. Epidural never went into effect. Second was strep throat. Diagnosis was immediate. Then sat. Gave my 4 year old a popsicle. Refused it. Gave him water. Refused it. Stuck a needle for fluids but never administered the whole time. Told me they needed an ambulance to transfer. Ok let’s go. 2 hours of crying. Said they were working on the ambulance again. Another hour. Now we need a CT scan to confirm the swab test. Huh? We were ready to go. Waited another hour plus. Started at 7 pm. Left after 2 am. I should have picked him up and carried him on my back. Then stuck with $3500 on my high deductible insurance to pay (not including the other hospital that treated him). Literally got nothing done here. Complained about the bill. They did an audit and said nothing is wrong. I wish my insurance worked at another local hospital. (2 months ago)

My son was born here, my husband passed away here, and I’ve had many surgeries here in between. Staff is caring and professional for the most part- and bad ones don’t seem to stay while the good ones I see again and again. When my husband was dying, I spent 5 days and nights in the ICU. The care we received was top notch. They had an entire care team of experts, it felt like an episode of House. Doctors and specialists coordinating and sharing information to determine best outcome, one who would go over technical stuff with me and one (because my husband, unlike me preferred things to be stated more simply) would come and explain in lay person terms. When we accepted there was nothing that could be done for him, the compassion and knowledge they provided me helped make the worst a little better. I am so much more comfortable with this medical facility than any within 50 miles. Top notch equipment too and always very sterile. Lots of visible signs that they do a good job with continual education and a lot of extra support programs. (4 months ago)

My husband and I had to choose a new general practice physician recently due to insurance and we found a knowledge, personable, empathetic, thorough doctor (soooo nice, down to earth, friendly. And no judgement!). Very happy with our choice! (2 months ago)
