I am so sorry to the people who had a bad experience here because I was blessed with an amazing one. I planned on doing an all natural waterr birth way before I got pregnant. When I found this hospital, I was super excited. It is small and initimate which I love. My midwife I was seeing (richele thompson) is amazing. She helped me with my previous miscarriage and throughout my entire pregnancy. Very professional and super sweet, but unfortuately she was sick the day I gave birth and couldnt deliver my daughter. I ended up having a doctor that I have never met before. The doctor that did deliver her (dr. Lang) was highly professional throughout the whole process and when she saw I was bleeding excessively after delivery, she got me out of the tub and onto the bed so calmly that I didn't even realize how serious it was lol. Her and her team stopped the bleeding without the need of blood transfusions which is awesome. The meals I got were plated like a 5 star restaurant and tasted like heaven. And at night, the nurses were so helpful. They saw how exshuated I was and wheeled my little girl to the nursery so I could get some sleep. The queen size bed was heaven to sleep on and my fiance said he never slept that good in his life lol. And there was a nurse that stuck out to me the most (kayla)... she was amazing... just absolutely amazing. I can't tell you how helpful she was... between teaching me how to go to the bathroom without being in extreme pain to having my daughter latch onto my breast with perfection... she was a God sent. Her and my midwife are both the main reason why I want to go back to college to become a nurse and work in the L&D department... and I would love to honestly work at this exact hospital too. I can't tell you enough how beautiful my experience was. Top notch security, super super clean, wonderful food and amazing nurses and doctors. Thank you Aultman Orrville for the amazing experience that i can charish for a lifetime! (a month ago)

My wife was referred to this hospital and their birth center. We were the only patients on the floor. The doctor staff/nurse practitioner were HORRIBLE. They just kept trying to add pain meds on top of pain meds, and not fix the problem. We didn't see a Dr until late into the third day. We requested to be private, no vistors/no phone calls, somehow people got the room number and phone number. The only saving grace was SOME of the nursing staff. I would and will NOT refer this terrible place to anyone for anything!!! (2 months ago)

Warning: if you have a balance with this hospital, they will not see you, even if you are insured. We were on a payment plan for the birth of our son. We had paid more than the minimum and had not missed a payment. We got pregnant again, and my wife scheduled her first prenatal appointment. Upon arriving, they told her that unless she paid off the remaining balance, they would not see her. This information was NOT given to us when the appointment was made. This seems to be their standard practice, waiting until you arrive to inform you that you will not be seen with a balance. This is their policy, and is in no way illegal, but they are very deceptive about this information. The care at this hospital is fantastic, and their birthing practices are top notch. But they let their patient, somewhere between 4-8 weeks pregnant, walk out of their office because they refused to see her over a billing balance, despite being up to date and ahead of schedule with the payment plan.
