First time at Aultman and came for outpatient gallbladder surgery. It was perfect from the time I walked in to when I left. Great staff! Nurse very understanding to me being chicken with needles. We even had a good laugh over it. The surgery assistants, anesthesiologist, nurses, other staff, even the young man who came to get me from my room before surgery were so friendly and put my mind at ease. They made a stressful experience so much easier. My biggest fear was being sick from anesthesia in recovery and they took care of it. First time ever that I didn't get sick from it. They listened! The surgeon made sure I had what I needed for comfort at home for nausea. If I ever need another outpatient surgery, I'll be back. Thank you for the great care! (a month ago)

I went to the emergency room at 2:30 p.m. I sat and waited until 7:20 p.m. before I was taken back to the patient area. I was given a test and was told that I had pneumonia. I stayed in the emergency room on a gurney until 1:45 a.m. when I was finally taken up to a room. Once I got admitted, the hospital personnel were all cordial and professional during my two day stay. Please understand that my complaint is with the Emergency Room staff only. The other aspects of my stay were very good. (3 weeks ago)

If you care at all about yourself or your loved ones avoid this hospital at all costs, rude, uncaring, sarcastic, good patient care means nothing to them. They should be ashamed of themselves. (2 weeks ago)

You'll always have a bad egg but my experience giving birth here was excellent. Almost all the staff were great and make you feel confident that they know exactly what they're doing. My son was having his heart rate dropping in utero while in labor and the staff assured me that they had it completely under control. I will admit though that it would have been nice to not be woken up by the nurses every few hours because my baby was also waking me so I didn't get more than 40 min of sleep at a time. Its probably policy but its still irritating. The girl bringing up my food was also exceptionally nice and I don't know what I would do without the free weekly breastfeeding clinic assuring me that my son is growing well. The parking could be expanded. The parking garage charges a fee and the free visitors parking is not only always full, but its terribly set up and you spend 10 min trying to get back out of it because its so tight. But who visits a hospital for the parking? (3 months ago)

If I could give zero, I would. Last August they ignored stat cares order for bloodwork and sent my daughter home and she was admitted to childrens the next day for Kawasaki disease. Against my better judgement i took my son tonight because its the closest and where my insurance is good and after 2 hours and them taking 6 adults back who came in after us with NON life threatening issues(there is no privacy there what so ever so I could hear everything they were saying) we left. I won't make that mistake again! (a month ago)
