This emergency room is a complete joke.... Brought my son in with a horrible rash all over his body...a nasty chest cough and holding his ears...Dr came in room an hour later asked what was wron when i went to show him the rash he said he didnt need to see it just tell him where it was.... Then looks at his ears and says hes fine. Then proceeds to tell me its only on half his body so its from laying on something ans whem I stated hes only beem laying on the bed on a sheet he insists to tell me think again its gotta be from a floor or blanket... Ummm hello pretty sure I know where my son was. Necer looked knto his cough which is horrible and then criticizes me for being mad..... Horrible place (2 months ago)

While the NICU is amazing the ER and main hospital inpatient floor seriously lack in timeliness, professionalism, and compassion (2 months ago)

Went to the ER tonight and saw "Dr. Shanna Paul" due to severe pain and bleeding from a surgery I had less than a week ago. She spent more time arguing that they had diagnosed me with cellulitis 4 days ago(which they never did) and it should be on my discharge paper work (that I never recieved) than she actually did looking at me! I have went there 2 times in the last week due to bleeding and pain with being unable to walk from the incision from my surgery. They have done nothing besides put me on a usless medication that my primary was shocked they put me on and told me to stop taking right away. Both times I have left in twice the amount of pain than when I came in with NOTHING for pain. And with her arguing about the diagnosing with cellulitis she had not put ANYTHING about me having that on this discharge paperwork that I made sure I received. This place is a complete joke. Dr. Paul I would be ashamed of yourself as well as the staff around you for making people AFRAID to come in to the emergency room. (4 months ago)

Major surgery after a traumatic accident. I can't say enough by way of praise for the ER docs, surgeons, nurses, and CNA's who cared for me. I am so thankful for the help I received at Aspirus. (6 months ago)

I made a 5am ER visit for an ankle sprain with my husband a month ago - quick service and knowledgeable staff. A nurse brought a wheelchair out to me (with my husband asking for assistance). The total visit took an hour with no waiting, likely since it was so early on Monday morning. (6 months ago)
