Location and Directions

My family has used this hopital for the past 50+ years. We have had babies here, said last goodbyes and for the past 5-10 years have had my mother there often for various situations. What was a wonderful small hospital has evolved into one I would never use except that I am not in control of my mother's care. 94 years old and left in the ER for over 7 hours with no food or water. The nurse was foul moved and even though most were pleasant, nothing really got done that was promised. When they finally moved her upstairs to a room it was worse. Some of the nurses are very nice and helpful but others can be pretty uncaring. Long waits for help, meals whenever they get around to it, horrible guest chairs, very uncomfortable rooms. I was hoping the Alliance change would make a big difference but it hasn't. I think the problem with the nurses is that they run so short staffed that the nurses can't handle the load and become frustrated. (a month ago)

Scheduled for same day surgery. Nursing staff is rude. Room is tiny. TV turned on to a channel and no control. No blanket or sheet to cover up with. Wants you to sit almost 2 hours in a hospital gown. When asked a second time for something to cover up with, nursing staff comes in looking at you real mean and dirty like it was so hard to get up and do something. Would have walked out if didn't need this procedure asap. (a week ago)

I will never go to the hospital again even if I'm dying I will make the extra trip across town. They treat you like you are looking to get a fix. It is called pain management. If you are going to charge someone $500 for an emergency service you should treat your patient like they are at a 5-star resort and actually CARE for them. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go someplace else. (a month ago)

Would give 0 stars if I could husband their after suicide attempt would not allow me to talk to him and would not give him a message to call me. without a password can't get a password without talking to him. So how cant I get a password car broke down so i will walk the 4 miles in 100 degree heat hopefully I can get into see him????????? (3 weeks ago)

Dont waste your time go to saint Anthony's on Douglas!!! Twice as fast, and the staff is 100 × nicer and seem to actually care. The emergency receptionist has a very vile attitude as if my brothers fractured ankle was not good enough to be in her presence. Poor service. My brother is in tears and we are 45 minutes into the wait!!!!!!!! (a month ago)
