Better than a few years ago, but they aren't the best with people skills. Every time I've been there I raise enough hell that when I wake up the popo are there for a ride to Mercy in Ardmore for a 5 day "vacation" yes I am bipolar and not ashamed but embrace my illness to motivate me to be a better person (2 months ago)

For a hospital, I am really surprised. There were cockroaches in my sisters room, I even found one crawling on her bed. For the four days my sister was there never once did house keeping come in and clean the bathroom or the floor. The nurses and aids were very nice and helpful, and the care that she got was outstanding, but the filthy room and bugs was just awful!!!!! (3 months ago)

My father was admitted today, the hospital showed so much respect, courtesy and compassion to not only our dad but to us as well. The nursing staff made us feel extremely important and answered all of the questions we asked about. I'm thankful for my father being in the hospital that cares for every person that is there. My mother was admitted thru the ER and from there to her room she received great care. We are from out of town and the staff has been very kind, helpful and gracious. The room is nice and clean except they need to clean room floors more often. When the 4 yr old kept kicking off her shoes we all noticed how dirty the bottom of her feet became. Other than that it has been a good experience and social service staff was right on top of helping us with several things. (10 months ago)

My Daughter in law was taken to the Durant ER this am due to fever and extreme body pain ( flu symptoms). They poked and prodded on her until she screamed. They started an iv and took some blood and told her that she is dehydrated. The flu test was negative but then told her that it could be too early to come up positive. She is pregnant and has a 2 year old at home. As a healthcare provider myself, I know that they should have treated her as if she had the flu. Instead, They dc'd the fluids when it was still 3/4 full and discharged her! This is neglectful! When you see that billboard on the hwy with short wait times, this is why! Shame on you!!!!
