My mother was here with an infection exacerbated by diabetes. The level of compassion and professionalism was very impressive. By the time she left she was not only better but the nurses and her Dr made sure she knew exactly what she needed to do from there on out. I recommend this hospital highly. Not just for the level of care but because they educate their patients as well. Truly a fantastic hospital!! (in the last week)

My grandmother was there and had excellent care from the nurses in ER ICU and regular floor. They were friendly and compassionate. The Chaplin visited and prayed with us. Very much faith based and friendly. (in the last week)

Recently I had a procedure done at GlenOaks. I was incredibly happy with my physician as well as the staff. Everyone was genuinely concerned with my care and treated me with respect. The new same day surgery center is beautiful. Overall, I could not have been more satisfied. Excellent nurses, quality care and warm environment. (a month ago)

My son is over prescribed double sedated , the MD forgot to discontinue the previous med. I told the nurse I do not want him double sedated. So now his head is in the pantry and he can’t put his tie on. A serious mistake since the nurse said the MD doesn’t listen to the nurse was her excuse. So now we are back to square one. I told the ER at Alexian to tell them to lower the doses, she didn’t care and now the doses are added, equals double sedated! A Josie King story!! He lost his ability to speak on these medicines as well. He could fall too! (a month ago)

This was the worst hospital experience I have ever had with my family. Very unprofessional, politically incorrect, lack of care when my loved one got into an ICU room. We want her to have the best care! Security was a joke. Hardly ever asked for the password to get information about our love. The staff complained about the 5 calls they received from our family, we were calling too much. A monitor went off,was on for 20 minutes, no one came in. We called the nurse, asked her about it, "just a IV drip ended I heard it". Didn't deal with it until we asked. We are not nurses, we don't know this. No water for her to drink, no toothbrush, we had to ask for it, , ICU rooms are so cold . After having to spend the weekend in ICU, having had to have a test done Monday, my loved one was moved to a regular room, she asked for help to go to the bathroom, nurse told her to "Relieve yourself in the bed, that is what the pads are for. I can't wait to get her out of this horrible place. Oh almost forgot, this Christian hospital has no Chapel or chaplin to come into patients rooms.I requested to have a visiting priest come to visit, the nurse said she would put it in, No one showed up. I know the parrish, if they had a call, they would come. I hope the nurse I talked to followed up on this ....... We had to go here for a cardiac emergency, closest hospital is the choice. Paramedics from Glen Ellyn were awesome and saved her life. They did what they had to do, God Bless the Glen Ellyn Paramedics, so wish they didn't have to take mom there. (3 weeks ago)
